29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling. Location: In various locations throughout workshop areas. a) On or about 10/26/2023,employees were exposed to fire and electric shock from the improper use of extension cords and power strips. Several extension cords were visible daisy-chained and coiled around permanent wire conduits above work benches in the assembly area of the workshop. b) On or about 10/26/2023, employees were exposed to fire and electric shock from the improper use of extension cords and power strips. A retractable extension cord was daisy chained to another retractable extension cord which was connected to a main branch circuit hanging down in the silk screening area of the workshop.

Location: Workshop wall adjacent to the quality assurance office. On or about 10/26/2023, circuit breaker panels in the workshop were found to be inaccessible because equipment and boxes were stored in such a way that they obstructed the required minimum of 30 inches of working space in front of the panel.

Location: Throughout the workshop and warehouse area. a) On or about 10/26/2023, two fire extinguishers were found on the floor in an unmarked location next to a door between a wall and main entry stairwell. b) On or about 10/26/2023, a fire extinguisher was found on the floor below the designated location on a hanger mounted to a support pole near the silk screening area of the workshop.
