29 CFR  1910.1200(g)(8):  The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s)  (a) on or about October 4, 2023, Bluestone SARL, employees were exposed to occupational injuries and illness when their employer failed to ensure that the SDS's for the ELGA, P48M welding rods were readily accessible during their shift.

29 CFR 1915.51(e)(1)(iii): Welders and other employees who were exposed to radiation were not suitably protected so as to protect their skin from burns and other damage by ultraviolet rays.  a) On or about October 5, a Bluestone SARL employee who was wearing a T-shirt, short gloves, high viz safety vest, and clear safety glasses was exposed to burns and other injuries from ultraviolet rays while assisting another employee who was actively welding on a lower deck of the Ruby Princess.
