OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that, employees were exposed to amputation hazards while operating a circular saw: a. On or about 10/24/2023, at 3415 North 55th Street, Tampa, Florida, 33619, an employee was using his hands to hold a piece of lumber which was improperly supported, while another employee was operating a hand-held circular saw to cut the lumber into shims, wherein the employee's hands were on the piece of lumber and not on the saw; therefore, having exposed the employee who was holding the piece of lumber to amputation hazards.
