The employer did not ensure that if the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard is guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired:  Tunnel Area: On or about October 31, 2023, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to trip hazards due to a missing roller at the entrance of the wash tunnel.

The Zips Car Wash was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1592442, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 8/5/2022), with respect to a workplace located at 11816 Bandera Rd, Helotes, TX, 78023.
