29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest. (a) At the worksite: On or about 01-16-2019, employees were exposed to fall hazards while working on a low sloped roof, approximately 15 feet above the lower level, without an adequate means of fall protection. SMC Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1381099, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 05-06-2019, with respect to a workplace located at 103 Maple Street, Milton MA 02186.
