29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system: 52 Ely St., West Springfield, MA: On or about October 31, 2023, an employee was observed working on a residential structure engaged in roofing activities with unprotected sides and edges greater than 9 feet above the ground below and was not protected by either guardrails, safety net systems or personal fall arrest systems. Luis Santos was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1483302, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on October 23, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 267 South Westfield St., Feeding Hills, MA.
