29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. Location: 14 Ricker Rd., Kinnelon, NJ 07405. a: The employer did not ensure employees performing roofing activities on an 18-foot high residential building were protected from fall hazards. On or about October 27, 2023, an employee suffered head, neck and knee injuries after falling from the roof onto the ground. Javi Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1633934, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on April 18, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 47-55 Woodland Dr., Woodland Park, NJ 07424.
