29 CFR 1910.213(c)(1): Circular handfed ripsaw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: (a)Fargo Glass & Paint Co. at 400 East 54th Street North, Sioux Falls, SD 57104: On or about and at times prior to October 13, 2023, the employer did not ensure that the Delta X5 Unisaw Table Saw, model: 36-L31X, was guarded to protect the operator from amputation hazards associated with the use of the unguarded table saw. An employee was using the table saw to cut an approximately 1x3 inch piece of wood for a shop project when they came into contact with the unguarded blade. This condition exposed employees to amputation hazards associated with the unguarded table saw.
