29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure:  a) Machine 2: On or about November 1, 2023, employees working about Machine line 2 were exposed to fire hazards due to a flexible extension cord being used to power an electric motor for at least 2 years.  Abatement certification required.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1): Chemical manufacturers and importers did not obtain or develop a safety data sheet for each hazardous chemical and for each chemical that posed a hazard not otherwise classified that they produced or imported; Employers shall have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use:  a) 25 Jaycee Drive, West Hazleton, PA 18202: On or about November 1, 2023, the employer manufactured hazardous chemicals, including but not limited to, polyethylene terephthalate 1 (PET-1), and the employer did not develop a safety data sheet for each chemical they produced.  CMC Polymers LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.1200(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1631435, citation number 1, item number 6 and was affirmed as a final order on March 21, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 25 Jaycee Drive, West Hazleton, PA 18202.  Abatement certification and documentation required.
