29 CFR 1926.652(b)(2): Maximum allowable slopes, and allowable configurations for sloping and benching systems, was not determined in accordance with the conditions and requirements set forth in Appendices A and B to this subpart. On or about November 2, 2023, employees were exposed to cave-in hazards while working in an excavation where the protection system was not in accordance with this section. Triple B Services LLP was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.652(b)(2) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1570955, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order 2/28/2022, with respect to a workplace located at Intersection of Foley Road and Crosby-Huffman Road, TX 77532.
