29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse. a. On or about November 3, 2023, in the warehouse, boxes containing medical supplies, weighing between 20 and 40 lbs. per box, were being stacked in such a manner that they may fall or slide onto employees working below, exposing employees to struck by hazards. b. On or about November 3, 2023, in the warehouse, boxes containing wrapping products were stacked in such a manner that the boxes were crushed or leaning, directly above the entry door of the office in the warehouse by the receiving area, exposing employees to a struck by hazard. c. On or about November 3, 2023, in the warehouse, two stacks of pallets, higher than 6 feet and stacked in such a way that they risked sliding or shifting, exposing employees to struck-by hazards due to being beside the walking working surface.
