29 CFR 1910.176(c): Storage areas were not kept free from accumulation of materials that constituted hazards from tripping, fire, explosion or pest harborage: 109 Moses Mill Road, Milford CT: On or about November 1, 2023, the employer stored a strong acid (Replate Equipment Cleaner) within 12 inches of a strong base (Super Kleen) exposing the worker to a reaction which can generate heat and cause fire and container explosion during tasks such as (but not limited to) chemical swapping. There was no secondary containment provided.
