29 CFR 1910.157(e)(1): The employer shall be responsible for the inspection, maintenance and testing of all portable fire extinguishers in the workplace: a) Main work floor near bay door #27: The employer failed to ensure that all fire extinguishers used in the workplace were in proper working order. A Toyota Forklift used at the facility had a Amerex ABC portable fire extinguisher taped to the quick release holder which was mounted to the forklift, and it could not be readily removed. Also, the fire extinguisher was not fully charged.
