29 CFR  1910.303(g)(1):Sufficient access and working space was not provided and maintained about all electric equipment (operating at 600 volts, nominal, or less to ground) to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment:  a) American International Warehouse  Holdings LLC, 40 Distribution blvd, Edison, NJ - Warehouse: The employer did not provide sufficient access and or working space about all electrical equipment  panels. The employer had forklift charging stations blocking access to the electrical panels. This condition exposed employees to trip and fall hazards.   Observed on/or about 11/07/2023.

29 CFR  1910.178(g)(1): Battery charging installations were not located in areas designated for that purpose:   American International Warehouse Holdings LLC/40 Distribution Blvd/EDISON, NJ 08817 - Battery charging station: The employer did not have the battery charging station in a designated area. The employer had the charging stations located in the access area of the electrical panels. This condition exposed employees to trip and fall hazards.   Condition observed on or about 11/07/2023.

29 CFR  1910.178(l)(2)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each operator had successfully completed the training consisting of a combination of formal instruction (e.g., lecture, discussion, interactive computer learning, video tape, written material), practical training (demonstrations performed by the trainer and practical exercises performed by the trainee), and evaluation of the operator's performance in the workplace.   a) American International Warehouse  Holdings LLC, 40 Distribution blvd, Edison, NJ - Warehouse: The forklift operators did not receive initial training or evaluation. The employer did not provide initial documentation to prove that the forklift operators were trained. This condition exposed employees to struck by hazards.   Observed on/or about 11/07/2023.
