29 CFR 1910.101(b): The handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks shall be in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet (CGA) P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6. Section 3.3.1 of the CGA Pamphlet P-1-1965 refers to storing cylinders in accordance with CGA and NFPA standards. The CGA Pamphlet P-1-1991 Section 3.7.4.1 states that "All compressed gas cylinders in service or in storage shall be secured to prevent from falling." a) Jobsite: 3655 S. Lawrence St. Philadelphia, PA 19148 - On or about 7 Nov 2023, the employer did not ensure that the storage of the compressed gas cylinders containing ethanol were immobilized by chains or other means to prevent from being knocked over, thereby exposing employees to struck-by hazards.
