29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1):The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE): (a) Colorado Wire Cloth, Inc. 409 Goodrich Ave, Platteville, CO 80651; On or about November 9, 2023, and at times prior, employees were exposed to high noise levels while working at and near the AccurShear 6500 Series Accupress. The employer failed to conduct an assessment for the need for hearing protective equipment were noise levels may exceed the permissible exposure limit (PEL).
