29 CFR  1910.101(b):   Compressed Gases - The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks shall be in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6.  39 Progress Circle (Shipping-Receiving Area): On or about November 14, 2023, Employer did not protect Employees from accidental injury because compressed gases were not properly stored in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965 as specified in 29 CFR 1910.6. Compressed gas tanks were not separated, secured, and/or protected from damage by objects or persons. Assigned storage places were located where cylinders could be knocked over, damaged, or accessed by unauthorized persons.   1) Compressed Gas Storage Area - Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Bank: Liquefied Petroleum (LP) gas tanks were stored stacked upon one another, on a 2nd tier and unsecured. 2) Compressed Gas Storage Area - Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Bank: Liquefied Petroleum (LP) gas tanks were stored on the floor, outside designated LP bank, unsecured and/or protected. 3) Compressed Gas Storage Area - Oxygen Tank Bank: Compressed gas tanks of dissimilar size were stored unsecured.
