29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: (a) At the powered industrial truck (PIT) storage area of the warehouse: On or about November 13, 2023 and at times prior, employees were exposed to a corrosive acid chemical while filling the cells of a battery on the PIT. The employer did not ensure suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body, were within the work area for immediate emergency use.
