29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where (a) portable ladder(s) was/were used for access to an upper level landing surface and the ladder's length did not allow the ladder side rails to extend at least 3 feet (0.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed, the ladder was not secured at its top to a rigid support that will not deflect, and/or a grasping device was not provided to assist employees in mounting and dismounting the ladder. (a) On or about November 14, 2023 Employees were accessing the upper level of framing installing floor joists and did not extend the ladder 3 feet about the tip of the wall line.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about November 14, 2023, Employees were framing of a residential house approximately 11 feet in height without the use of fall protection, exposing employee to a fall hazard) CMG Framing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1615910, citation number 1 item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/5/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 1501 Addison St Lancaster Tx.
