29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): "Residential construction." Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure.   On or about November 9, 2023,  An employee was exposed to fall hazards in excess of 14 of feet while engaged in residential framing activities. Fall protection was not being utilized while employee was engaged in framing activities.    No abatement certification or documentation is required.   J. Marvin Construction, LLC  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1629534, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on December 01, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 841 Foxdale, Winnetka, IL. 60093.  J. Marvin Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1584308, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on October 6, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 510 S. Hawthorne Ave., Elmhurst, IL 60126.
