29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(iv): Electrical equipment had damaged parts that may adversely affect safe operation or mechanical strength of the equipment, such as parts that are broken, bent, cut, or deteriorated by corrosion, chemical action, or overheating: a) Warehouse - On or about November 15, 2023, the employer did not ensure that all flexible cables were free from damage and recognized hazards that may expose employees to injury. The insulated jacked on the connector cable of the SCR 100 Charger was separated from the housing, exposing live copper wire. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
