29 CFR  1910.29(b)(1): The employer did not ensure that  guardrail systems met the requirement that the top edge height of top rails, or equivalent guardrail system members, that are 42 inches (107 cm), plus or minus 3 inches (8 cm), above the walking-working surface. The top edge height may exceed 45 inches (114 cm), provided the guardrail system meets all other criteria of paragraph (b) of this section (see Figure D11 of this section).  a)  In the production area, located at 122 Glen Bass Rd., Fitzgerald, GA 31750, on or about January 25, 2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that employees were working from a walking surface approximately 69" above a concrete floor where the guardrail system measured 36" above the walking surface.

29 CFR  1910.29(b)(2)(i): The employer did not ensure that guardrails met the requirement that midrails that are installed at a height midway between the top edge of the guardrail system and the walking-working surface.  a)  In the production area, located at 122 Glen Bass Rd., Fitzgerald, GA 31750, on or about January 25, 2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that employees were working from a walking surface approximately 69" above a concrete floor where the guardrail system measured 36" above the walking surface and did not have a midrail.

NationCraft, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1642282, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on July 26, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 122 Glen Bass Rd., Fitzgerald, Georgia.

NationCraft, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1642282, citation number 1, item number 2c and was affirmed as a final order on July 26, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 122 Glen Bass Rd., Fitzgerald, Georgia.
