29 CFR 1910.179(g)(1)(v): Pendant control boxes were not constructed to prevent electrical shock or clearly marked for identification of functions: On or about November 27, 2023, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure the crane pendant wiring was provided with strain relief and buttons were clearly marked. Crane operator(s) were potentially exposed to electrical shock and/or struck-by hazards. ACS Manufacturing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.179(g)(1)(v), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1427269, citation number 1, item number 10 and was affirmed as a final order on February 27, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1601 Commerce Blvd. Dennison, TX.

29 CFR 1910.184(f)(1): Wire-rope slings did not have permanently affixed and legible identification markings as prescribed by the manufacturer that indicated the recommended safe working load for the type(s) of hitch(es) used, the angle upon which it is based, and the number of legs if more than one: On or about November 27, 2023, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure all wire rope slings were equipped with a marking/tag exposing employees to struck by hazards. ACS Manufacturing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.184(f)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1427269, citation number 1, item number 11 and was affirmed as a final order on February 27, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1601 Commerce Blvd., Denison TX. 75020.
