29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) Work site was located at 612 Ocean Avenue, Sea Bright, NJ 07760 Two workers were exposed to fall hazards in excess of three-stories while doing trim work to seal leaks in the roof of a multi-family residence with no fall protection on. Violation was observed on or about November 28, 2023.

Violation was observed on or about November 28, 2023.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(8):Ladders placed in a location where they could be displaced by workplace activities or traffic, such as in passageways, doorways, or driveways, were not secured to prevent accidental displacement, nor was a barricade used to keep the activities or traffic away from the ladder: a) Work site was located at 612 Ocean Avenue, Sea Bright, NJ 07760 Workers were exposed to struck by hazards while they used an improperly set up extension ladder that was set in an active roadway with live traffic identified as Riverview Place. No cones or advanced warning signs were set up to notify drivers of the hazards associated with the exposed workers. Violation was observed on or about November 28, 2023.
