29 CFR 1910.95(g)(1): The employer did not establish and maintain an audiometric testing program as provided by 29 CFR 1910.95(g) by making audiometric testing available to all employees whose exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average of 85 decibels: (a) Big Mill- On or about December 12, 2023, trimmer operator was exposed to continuous noise at a dose of 237 % or an equivalent time weighted average of 96 dBA, which is in excess of the 85 dBA Action level, during a 482 minute sampling period on 12/12/23. Exposure calculations included a zero increment for the time not sampled. (b) Big Mill- On or about December 12, 2023, an edger operator was exposed to continuous noise at a dose of 239 % or an equivalent time weighted average of 96 dBA, which is in excess of the 85 dBA Action level, during a 485 minute sampling period on 12/12/23. Exposure calculations included a zero increment for the time not sampled.
