29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) Roof on Lot# 673, Del Webb at Chateau Elan, Hoschton, GA: On or about 11/29/2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 10-feet from the eave of the 8/12 pitched roof, in that the employer did not enforce the connecting of personal fall protection during the installation of the ridge caps. b) Roof on Lot# 673, Del Webb at Chateau Elan, Hoschton, GA: On or about 11/29/2023, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 10-feet from the eave of the 8/12 pitch roof in that the employer did not enforce the use of approved anchoring systems where the lifeline was tied to the truss.

29 CFR 1926.552(a)(4): Hoisting ropes were not installed in accordance with the wire rope manufacturers' recommendations. a) Roof, on Lot# 673, Del Webb at Chateau Elan, Hoschton, GA: On or about 11/29/2023, the employer exposed employees to potential struck-by hazards in that the employer replaced the manufacturer's required wire rope with a nylon, rock climbing type rope which is prohibited by the manufacturer.
