29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): Except as provided elsewhere in this section 29 CFR 1910.28, the employer did not ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the systems described in 29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): Location: South end of garage space. On or about November 30, 2023, employees traveling and working adjacent to a floor opening were not protected from a fall of approximately seven feet where fall protection was not utilized.

29 CFR 1910.29(b)(3): The employer did not ensure that guardrail systems are capable of withstanding, without failure, a force of at least 200 pounds (890 N) applied in a downward or outward direction within 2 inches (5 cm) of the top edge, at any point along the top rail. Location: Bays 5 and 6 On or about November 30, 2023, employees working adjacent to a floor opening were not protected from a fall of approximately seven feet where the guardrail system was not constructed to withstand an outward or downward force of at least 200 pounds.
