29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest system. On or about November 15, 2023 at 225 Rivermoor Street, West Roxbury, MA 02321, employees of Viridis Energy Solutions LLC were exposed to a unprotected edge of a roof, which was approximately 14 feet above the ground, while installing solar panels where there was no fall protection system used.
