Employees would not have access to a suitable means of flushing the chemical from their eyes, in case of an emergency.  The Navy Exchange was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1661545, citation number 01, item number 002 and was affirmed as a final order on May 30, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 2110 North Coral Sea Ave, Building 17, Oak Harbor, Washington.
