29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2): Each exit must be clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit": On or about December 6, 2023, the employer failed to ensure that the door located in front of the dining area, and used as part of the exit discharge was properly marked. Signage used to provide direct during a fire event or emergency was not affixed above the door thus potentially exposing employees and others working in the immediate area to hazards created by fire and other emergencies.
