29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: On or about December 7, 2023, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure that employees engaged in roofing activities were tied off or protected from fall hazards of approximately 30 feet to the ground below. TSM Roofing was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1443145, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on December 20, 2019 with respect to a workplace located at 9069 Summer Creek Drive, Fort Worth TX 76123.
