29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Listed or labeled electrical equipment was not used or installed in accordance with instructions included in the listing or labeling. On and/or before December 7, 2023, multiple appliances such a Black & Decker Toast-R-Oven/Broiler, Keurig, Turntable Microwave Oven and a Norstar Nortel Phone System were plugged into a relocatable power and/or "daisy chained" in which were not used according to the listing and labeling instructions. This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to electrical shock and/or fire hazard(s). In the following locations: a) Employee Break Room - Black & Decker Toast-R-Oven/Broiler, Keurig and Turntable Microwave Oven were plugged into a surge protector. b) Server and/or Phone System Area - Surge protector plugged into another surge protector which was used to power the Server and/or Phone System. U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1591553, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 24, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 8790 Double Diamond Pkwy, Reno, NV 89521.
