29 CFR 1926.20(b)(2):The employer did not initiate and maintain a safety program which provides for frequent and regular inspections of jobsites, materials, and equipment to be made by a competent person: On or about December 11, 2023, the employer did not conduct frequent inspections to provide a workplace where any employee, worker, laborer, or mechanic employed in the performance of the contract were free from recognized hazards such as but not limited to (a-b): a) Employees performing decking activities on the roof of a residential home were exposed to an unprotected fall hazard of six (6) feet or greater to the ground below. b) An employee working at ground level without head protection was exposed to struck-by hazards while decking activities involving the transfer of material to upper levels were being performed directly overhead.
