29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): (a) On or about December 12, 2023, employees conducting decking work on the northeast corner of a new residential home on a roof with a 4:12 pitch, were not wearing fall protection. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 18 feet to the ground below. (b) On or about December 12, 2023, the employer did not block windows on the north side of a new residential home which exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 15 feet from window to the ground below.
