29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: On or about December 12, 2023, at the TPI (Third Party Inspection) area, employees were using flexible cords to supply power to equipment including, but not limited to the following: a) lamps on top of the TPI (Third Party Inspection) Bench or Platform, they run alongside the platform. b) a DeWalt grinder, hanging by the pole near the control panel. c) DeWalt grinders, hanging by the South yellow pole near the booth. d) 4X4 metal outlet box on the floor providing power to a fan by the South yellow pole near the booth. e) power strip providing power to a charger by the south yellow pole near the booth Welspun Tubular LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1672069, Citation 2, Item 1 and was affirmed as a final order on December 11, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 9301 Frazier Pike, Little Rock, AR 72206.
