29 CFR 1926.552(a)(1): The employer did not comply with manufacturer's specifications and limitations applicable to the operation of all hoists and elevators. Location: Jobsite; On or about 12/12/23, employees were using a materials hoist/laddervader/shingle hoist as a ladder to gain access to the roof of the residence that was approximately 20-feet above the ground below. The use of a materials hoist/laddervader/shingle hoist as a ladder goes against manufacturer instructions for the piece of equipment.
