29 CFR 1910.268(n)(7): The employer did not ensure that employees used safety straps and body belts while working on elevated work platforms such as aerial splicing platforms, pole platforms. ladder platforms and terminal balconies were adequate railings were not provided. (a) 756 Ironstone Road, New Cumberland, PA; at or near on the road - On or about December 12, 2023, an employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 15 feet while working from an elevated bucket without a means of fall protection. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
