29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. a) Jobsite located at 225 W Rittenhouse Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania- On or about December 12, 2024, the employer did not ensure each employee who was performing work on a mobile scaffold platform was trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards of the mobile scaffold. Employees worked on a mobile scaffold to install wall sheathing without being trained, thereby exposing employees to fall hazards.
