29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv): Unless specifically permitted otherwise in paragraph (g)(1)(ii) of this section, flexible cords and cables may not be used:  29 CFR  1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): As a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure;  a) On or about December 18, 2023, an extension cord was used to provide electricity to the CMA Dishwasher. The flexible cord was used in lieu of fixed wiring, thereby exposing employees to electrical/fire hazards.

Sufficient access and working space shall be provided and maintained about all electric equipment to permit ready and safe operation and maintenance of such equipment.  a) On or about December 18, 2023, located on the West wall in the dishwashing area, the employer did not ensure sufficient access and working space was provided to electrical panels, thereby exposing employees to an electrical hazard.
