OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which was free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employee was struck by pipe when un-securing a load from flatbed freight trailer. Location: 777 Route 23 South, Pompton Plains, NJ 07444 a) The employer did not ensure that proper chocking methods were used to prevent steel pipes from rolling from the trailer during unloading. An improperly chocked load fell off a flatbed trailer and struck an employee in the leg. Violation occurred on or about December 21, 2023
