29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by pinch points. a) Valgroup, LLC on or about December 16, 2023, at the location of 3441 North Main Street Findlay, OH 45840: The employer did not adequately guard the pneumatically driven "chuck lock" on Rewinder #2. Due to this condition, employees working in the Industrial Film Department tasked with loading/unloading jumbo roles, were exposed to a pinch point hazard when engaging the chuck lock.
