First level top plate: On or about 01/02/2024, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees while operating pneumatic nail guns at 120 PSI during framing operations.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) New residential construction located at 5120 Hillington Way, Sugar Hill, GA 30518. First level top plate: On or about 01/02/2024, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 10-feet, 2-inches to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in framing activities. b) New residential construction located at 5122 Hillington Way, Sugar Hill, GA 30518. First level top plate: On or about 01/02/2024, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 10-feet, 9-inches to the lower ground level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in framing activities.
