29 CFR  1910.37(a)(3): Exit routes were not free and/or unobstructed. No materials or equipment may be placed, either permanently or temporarily, within the exit route. The exit access must not go through a room that can be locked, such as a bathroom, to reach an exit or exit discharge, nor may it lead into a dead-end corridor. Stairs or a ramp were not provided where the exit route was not substantially level.   On January 3, 2023, and times prior thereto, in the saw room, the emergency exit door was blocked by merchandise such as garbage cans, a buffer machine, and metal pipes protruding from a rack in front of the door exposing employees to struck-by, and fire hazards.
