29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1)(iii): The safety monitor wan not on the same walking/working surface and within visual sighting distance of the employee being monitored. On or about January 2, 2024 the employer 5K Commercial Roofing LLC at jobsite located at 419 Broad St. Elyria OH 44035, failed to ensure the designated safety monitor was in a position within visual sighting distance to observe all employees working on the edge of the roof deck, exposing employees to fall hazards to a lower level.
