29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1):Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge: a) At B & T USA, LLC, located at 6801 54th Street, Tampa, FL: On or about January 4, 2024, the employer exposed employees to fire hazards in that the fire exit in the back of the warehouse near the demo/testing area required knowledge to use both the panic bar and the door handle in order to open the door and exit the building.

29 CFR 1910.37(a)(2): Exit routes were not arranged so that employees would not have to travel toward a high hazard area. a) At B & T USA, LLC, located at 6801 54th Street, Tampa, FL: On or about January 4, 2024, the employer exposed employees to fire and explosion hazards in that approximately 200,000 rounds of demo and testing ammunition was stored in a location near the back fire exit located near the firearms demo and cleaning area.

29 CFR 1910.37(b)(6):Each exit sign was not illuminated to a surface value of at least five foot-candles (54 lux) by a reliable light source and be distinctive in color: a) At B & T USA, LLC, located at 6801 54th Street, Tampa, FL: On or about January 4, 2024, employees were exposed to fire hazards, in that the employer did not ensure the EXIT sign on top of the double brown door in the warehouse leading to the front office spaces and the front fire exit was powered and illuminated in order to minimize delays and prevent exposure during an emergency. b) At B & T USA, LLC, located at 6801 54th Street, Tampa, FL: On or about January 4, 2024, employees were exposed to fire hazards, in that the employer did not ensure the EXIT sign on top of the single door near the offices and gym leading to the front fire exit was powered and illuminated in order to minimize delays and prevent exposure during an emergency.
