29 CFR  1926.304(d): Portable, power-driven circular saw(s) were not equipped with a guard above and below the base plate or shoe:  a)  At 6819 Petiole Drove, Lot 24 Hill Top, Fairhope, Alabama:  On January 5, 2024; the employer allowed his employees to operate a skill saw on site with the guard wedged up exposing the blade and exposing his employees to struck-by hazards.

29 CFR  1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed:   a)  At 6819 Petiole Drove, Lot 24 Hill Top, Fairhope, Alabama:  On January 5, 2024; the employer allowed his employees to use an extension ladder to access the second floor of the house and the rails of the ladder did not extend three feet above the second floor landing to provide safe access exposing his employees to a fall hazard of  11 feet 6 inches to the ground below.
