29 CFR  1910.1200(g)(8):The employer did not maintain copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical in the workplace:  On or about January 5, 2024: 2308 Marion Barry Ave, DC, Apt 30, the employer did not maintain safety data sheets and employees were potentially exposed to carcinogenic hazards due to inhalation hazards while working with products that included but were not limited to Clean and Shine Neutral Disinfectant.   In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).

29 CFR  1910.1200(h)(1): The employer did not provide employees with effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment, and whenever a new physical or health hazard the employees had not previously been trained about was introduced into their work area:  On or about January 5, 2024: 2308 Marion Barry Ave, DC, Apt 30, the employer did not provide employees with hazard communication training and employees were potentially exposed to carcinogenic hazards due to inhalation hazards while working with products that included but were not limited to Clean and Shine Neutral Disinfectant.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).

29 CFR  1910.134(c)(2)(ii): The employer did not establish and implement those elements of a written respiratory protection program necessary to ensure that any employee using a respirator voluntarily was medically able to use that respirator, and that the respirator was cleaned, stored, and maintained so that its use does not present a health hazard to the user.  On or about January 5, 2024, the employer did not have employees medically evaluated where, they were observed using a Honeywell 7700-30M air-purifying  half-mask tight fitting respirator while performing cleaning operations.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet).
