29 CFR 1910.138(a): The employer did not select and require employee(s) to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands were exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances; severe cuts or lacerations; severe abrasion: Winding area, 19 Depot Street, Sutton, MA: On or about December 18, 2023, and at times prior, employees performing plastic film cutting on production lines were exposed to lacerations and amputation hazards as the employer did not require and enforce that employees used appropriate hand protection while cutting plastic film rolls.
