29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator is competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): a) George L. Wells Meat Co. located at 982 N Delaware Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19123: On or about January 9, 2024 the employer did not ensure that powered industrial truck operators operating powered trucks such as, but not limited to, Yale ERCO30AGN36TE082 Forklift and Yale MPB040-EN24T2748 Electric Pallet Jack successfully completed the training and evaluation to ensure operators have the knowledge and skills needed to operate the powered industrial trucks safely. Training shall consist of a combination of formal instruction, practical training , and evaluation of the operator's performance in the workplace.
