1910.132(d)(1) The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards were present, or were likely to be present, which necessitated the use of personal protective equipment: a) Publix Atlanta Distribution Facility - On or about 01/10/2024, and at times prior, the employees were exposed to health hazards in that, the employer failed to ensure that PPE hazard assessment that indicate proper PPE such as eye protection was provided to employees working with Ethy-Gen III Concentrate in the Banana Rooms as required by Safety Data Sheet.
